Nature

Take full advantage of being “away from it all” and participate in some Nature Activities. Campers can have opportunities to hike, learn survival skills, identify plants and wildlife, build camp fires, practice archery & fishing, visit the chicken coop, help in the garden, create nature art, learn science and environmental stewardship, and experience some wilderness adventures. They can explore, play, and love being outdoors. They can be present and take time to appreciate the beauty of the natural world.

Must we always teach our children with books? Let them look at the mountains and the stars up above. Let them look at the beauty of the waters and the trees and flowers on earth. They will then begin to think, and to think is the beginning of a real education.David Polis, naturalist
